1. who does  Lencho complete faith in? Which sentence in the story tell you this? 

Answer-  Lencho had complete faith in god .this is evident when he write a letter to god asking for money to help him  in a time of  need .and he believes that god will  send it .sentence that show this are: "God, if you don't help me, my family and I will go hungry this year," and "god don't send the  money through  the mail because the post office employees are a bunch  Of the crooks 

2.why does postmaster send money to Lencho? Why does he sing the letter "God"?

Answer- the post master sends money to Lencho because he moved by Lencho's faith and his deseprated situation. he sings the letter 'God' to maintain Lencho's faith and belief  that his prayer has been answered.

3. Did Lencho try to find out who had sent the money to him ? Why/whynot? 

Answer- No, Lencho did not try to find who had sent money to him. He believes it is from god so he dosen't question on its origin.

4. who does Lencho think has taken the rest of the money ? What is the irony in the situation ?

Answer- Lencho thinks that the rest of the money had been taken by the post office employees . The irony here Is that  Lencho . Who has complete faith in god . accuses the postal workers,

implying that he trusts them less than he trusts god .

5. Are there people like Lencho in the real world? What kind of a person would you say he is ?you may select appropriate words from the box to answer the question. (greedy, naive, stupid, ungrateful, selfish, comical, unquestioning) 

Answer- yes, there are people like Lencho in the real world, who have unwavering faith and trust in a higher power . Lencho can be described as  devout , trusting ,and perhaps somewhat naive , but also resilient in  his faith .

6. there are two kinds of conflicts in the story : between human and nature ,and between human themselves . How are these conflicts illustrated? 

Answer- There is conflict human and nature . Lencho and his sons works tund for a good harvest  but his hailstones destory the cron completely . there is  conflict between human themselves . the postmaster , and his employees and  ds donate a part of their hard carned    income to help lencho whereas he calls them fready of crooks .
